Acclimating inverts

So I got some more snails . Besides drip acclimating them do it need to do anything else? Some have green algae on there she'll should I clean it off before putting in my DT? If so should I use something like a toothbrush?

I float the bag for 15 minutes to temp acclimate them and then drop them in the tank. I've never lost any doing it this way. Or if you prefer temp acclimate them and then dump in a 1/2 cup of tank water into the bag until full, then dump out half the water in the bag and repeat 1/2 cup until full again then drop them in.

A lot of times there isn't a lot of water in the bags (If any at all and just a wet papertowel) so drip acclimating doesn't take long generally considering there is little water to double. I have done all of the above though- float and dump them, little bit of water added every few minutes, and also dripping. I don't know that I have had better luck with one over the other. A few suggest dipping them in one or two cups of tank water in separate containers to ensure no lingering bag water remains on them before putting them in the display tank...

I'm not clear where you got your snails from. Some places ship with water. Some with little to no water. My apologies for assuming your snails were purchased and packaged with water.

Hi I got them from lfs. They did have water with them. However one of the Mexican turbo snails I got had thus white hard curly thing on his shell. When I put him in the tank a small white fluffy thing that looks like a Palm tree comes out almost like a coral or something growing on his shell. Is that even possible or is that some sort of parasite or hitch hiker

That's probably a barnacle

All of those little volcano looking things in the second picture are barnacles, which are harmless filter feeders. I can't make out the big one in your first picture because it looks like a white circle.
