acclimating macro algae????

I finally stopped procrastinating and set up my refugium earlier today......I jus wanted to kno is there any reason that I would have to acclimate the macro or can I just throw it into the refugium?? Anything else that would be good to know about macro before I went to the lfs and bought a handful would be muchly appreciated....

no acclimation macro is hard to kill what kind are you getting?

The stupid lfs doesn't say which kind.....they have a sign that says "handful of macro $4"......I asked the guy there and he said he doesn't know

its peobably cheato or calurpa type them into google images and tell me which one calurpa is a very agressive algea and fast growing cheato is more of a ball

Cheato is the kind you want. It is hard to kill and does a great job.
