Acclimating new fish question

Hey all,
I've always drip acclimated my fish but recently I came across a thread that basically said for fish that are shipped overnight drip acclimation is actually harmful from the shock it puts on the fish due to ammonia/ph chagning dramatically. So my question is if drip acclimation isn't the best method for fish that are shipped overnight then what type of acclimation should I be performing for shipped fish?

Match quarantine water SG to shipped water SG. Temperature acclimate for 15 minutes, then place into quarantine (which for many is the first cycle of tank transfer)
