Achilles tang QT questions

Hi all ! Well, next week I should be receiving a achilles tang, it will go into QT and my question is. Wich is the best procedure to receive it?

Its a 30 gallon QT tank, already cycled with a cascade filter in it. Im thinking about getting a nano wavemaker to create current and turbulence in the higher part of the tank.

I was thinking in dosing paraguard in the beggining and then half dose of cupramine once I get it, and see how it reacts, just to avoid an ich parasite from creating havok in the tank, since this tangs aare known for being ich magnets.

Will do 1 week of paraguard, 2-3 weeks of cupramine +1 week of prazipro + 1-2 weeks of observation.

Any advice is welcome.

You should do ttm then put him in the quarantine tank for observation after ttm.

My quarantine routine for all fish including my Achilles was formalin dip when arrive for 45 min then into ttm , during ttm I do prazi after ttm they go in quarantine tank for 2 weeks observation before main tank.

I dont have access to Formalin or Chloroquine phosphate. In Costa Rica they are really difficult to find.

if it were me (did this my achilles) get him into qt, obsevere and treat from there there. he going to be stressed enough from being in a bag and stuffed into a box. you want to get him eating. witch was the hardest part for me. that was 6 years ago and he still healthy as could be.
