Acid wash

I want to acid wash all my live rock. I bought some muriatic acid that is used to lower ph in swimming pools but don't know it's concentration. My question is this;
What ratio of muriatic acid to water is going to cook off all pests and for how long should I keep the live rock submerged for. Also how do I bring the ph back up so the treated rock doesn't cause low ph of new or current tank setup.

There's a big write up of this on an American reef site. Essentially, "use a 30% concentration muriatic acid at a 10:1 gallon ratio with water."

I also did this and worked very well. I've since thought that using a hose was a bad idea because of the rock re-absorbing things... But you'd need a lot of RO to avoid this...
