ACJR questions (newB)

I have a few questions. I'm confused with what all comes with the ACJR.

In the "combos" section on the order page, it has the IM513 & 2 CM466 for $71.95 Is this the thing that you plug all the equipment into? Does it allow you to plug in fans, heaters, halides, actinics, moonlights, powerheads for wavemaker, HOB filter for feed purposes.

Does the unit have the "feed" option? I haven't seen anything about it on the site.

Does the unit have the option where it allows the halides to cool before turning them back on if there is a power outage?

Im so confused.. on the digital aquatics "reefkeeper" website everything makes much more sense what is included with the unit. The only thing is that it doesn't have the PH monitoring and the "if heat exceeds 83F then halides go off" feature. Which I want.

My recommendation would be to get the DC8 instead of all the X10 stuff. It will be cheaper in the long run and there is no interference. I think you can get the ACjr and the DC8 for 249. This is a great bargain for a very flexible unit.

The unit does have a feed option. You can program the length of the feed cycle and the equipment that is turned off during the feed cycle. The feed cycle can be initiated by presing a button on the front of the unit. See page 20 of the manual.

The unit also can be programmed to initiate a delay before taking an action. This is the MAX delay command on page 21 of the manual. People us this command just as you mention, but there are many other uses as well. See page 21 of the manual.

You can download the manual on the neptune website under the support tab.

Thank You, I think I have now decided on the ACJR w/ DC8 over the reefkeeper.

It's too bad they don't come standard with the backlight... I'm def. gonna get that unless I can find a used one for cheap

Thanks again,
Lee
