Acquario di Genova (many pics)

This summer I was in Italy and went to the Genova aquarium. It's considered to be the best one in Europe. I was very much impressed with the size of their main tropical aquarium.
I still have to go to the new one in the SF.
To be 100% honest, I think that when it comes to corals, the Italian aquarium was much better than our Monterey one.
Monterey is still very nice but realistically it only has on display 2 or 3 reef tanks probably 500 Gallons. Many other smaller tanks with individual coral and some fish but not quite full diverse reef tanks.

Also I noticed that in Genova they use a combination of big metal halides and actinic MH ! I had never seen these before and I'm still not sure this is possible. (So I took a bunch of pictures of them. The reflector of the actinic MH is made from Philips and if you look on the glass part they have a strange divider thing over 1/3 of it. I don' t think that was a just a blue film.
