Acro bleaching

What would cause an acro to start bleaching at its tips?

there are lots of possible causes.... have you checked your water parameters lately? if so, what are they? if not then it would be good to do so...cause obviously your acro is not happy or healthy

when did it start bleaching? what are your calcium and alkalinity levels? Have you had any sudden changes in the tank that could have either polluted it or caused stress?

Acros often get lighter/whiter at the tips as a sign of growth. If it is truly bleaching, they usually lighten all over. Common causes for this are too much light, low alk, and redbugs.

Sounds like you've just got some good growth.
Use the google image search to check out some pics online of "acro growth" -- is yours much different than this pic at Doug's Reef?
