Acro crabs & coral QT

Hi,
After I got done acclimating my new purchases I noticed a tiny little crab living in the birdsnest and one in my new acropora..
So my question is, what do they eat? is there anything they need? I'll be putting the corals in QT for 6 weeks,I think they're cool and want to make sure they're well cared for..

those little guys are great, they probably just groom stuff out of your coral, I doubt you'll have to hand feed it anything, I never have before anyway.
Glad your not killing it, give it a chance and see how the little bugger does.

well they can either eat the coral, things living on the coral or the coral's mucus. Its difficult to tell exactly wha type it is but most crabs are bad news. The only type that I know of that is ok is the bandit crab and is pinkish with a single dark band running across its face from eye to eye. I couldnt tell if it was a bandit. Keep an eye on it and notice if the coral lookes eaten of becomes stressed. Goodluck
