Temperature fluctuations for SPS

I've just set up a new shallow reef and am planning the corals I'd like to get once the system is mature enough.
I'd definitely like to keep SPS as I have done in the past, however I have an Eheim climacontrol + as my temperature regulator and noticed on my Apex today that it gave a 1 degree (Celcius) rise in one hour.
My question is if acropora will tolerate this? It was a quick climb in temperature and then stable for the rest of the day, however it seems that this is a daily occurrence around 6am where the temperature rises from 24.1 to 25.2.
I'm not sure why this is happening, but I certainly expect better control from a AUD$1500 unit, so it must be something I'm doing wrong.

I'd appreciate any advice or experience with this unit.

I have to convert to farenheit ;) If my conversion is correct, you're going from around 75F to 77F in an hour. That does seem like a bit of a temp swing over an hour period. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with the Eheim controller so, I won't be much help.

That swing isn’t terrible but in an hour is pretty quick. I’m wondering if you have other things contributing…perhaps lights are contributing to the heat, or if you have pumps that run on a day night schedule?
