Acro diagnosis ?

Have only a few SPS in my mixed reef tank. Is this called precipitation of calcium from a too high calcium condition? Is that a really bad thing to have happen? Sorry for the weak photo. Running calc reactor, PH on effluent is 6.8 - 6.7 generally. I think my calcium is high in the tank, will be testing all parms in near future.

To me that's what corals do to coraline as they encrust on the rock. Your corals are growing!

I know this thread is over a year old but that coral looks like it it receding around the edges...NOT growing. Its called STN (slow tissue necrosis). Something seems to be stressing it. Maybe ALk swings.
