Has anyone ever seen or heard of this? I've had some weird things happen in my tank over the last month. I have had a few corals rtn over night. Then I have some that start to stn at the base and some that do it at the tips. It's happened to acros and monti's. I have dipped a few of the corals that are stn'n with nothing coming off. Then today I was looking at a colony that's starting to stn and found little white things that looked like nudi's. They are pretty small and I'm not sure that's what it is. I have had Monti eating nudi's a long time ago and haven't seen them in two years. Over the last few months I've been adding wild frags and I guess anything is possible. I was thinking maybe some sort of bacteria spreading like the flue. Just so confused.
My parameters have been rock solid. Alk-8,ca460,mag 1360,nitrate 5( my corals look better @ this level). Salinity 1.026,ph 8.0. I'm running a ca reactor controlled by an apex. Lighting is radions at 55% for a year. I also have a very healthy amount of flow. I do a 20%wc once a month sometimes twice a month.
I have the majority of my corals on small chunks of rock so I can dip about 80% of them. I just don't want to start dipping with bayer and stressing them out.
