I pick this up from a friend he had no idea what it could be just wondering if i could please get an ID

Could be a lot many different species of Acropora. A. tenius will probably be the most common answer. Which is possible if it grows into a cluster like colony.

If it table then my guess would be A. cerealis. These are just two off the top of my head guesses. It needs to grow out more to get a better idea.
