Was also thinking of purchasing a fragment of this, does anyone have any experiance or photos of this coral?

I tried a colony a while back and it did not make it. How long has this been in tank water?

Here's mine. Sorry for the bad pics, my lights were just about to shut off for the night so this is just under actinics. Really slow grower IME.
Mine is just beginning to table. Mine is not the most colorful coral in my collection but has one of the most interesting growth forms. ( when it finally gets going that is

It looks kinda like the last pic (skeletal detail) I think it gets the spiky coralites as it gets larger. ( I am noticing the outmost branches are developing more radial corallites. ( right now it dosent look exactly like anything in Vernons book
