Acropora Check - Am I in Good Shape Here

So far I have these Acroporas for 9 days now. Whenever the lights are up and specially at higher intensities, the polyps show up and striations become visible. It's been consistently like that. Am I in good shape here? Basically I just need to maintain the tank. If this is good, I'd like to buy a couple more Acros from the same vendor so that they all grow together.

Calcium 420
DKH 9
Phosphate, Ammonia, Nitrates are 0 according to API test kit. I am sure there's 0.0xxxxx something there because my Chaeto is growing fast in the reactor and the corals would die if there is really 0 P and N.

I have two Kessils 160 lights mounted at 12 inches high. Both are running at peak 75% and most of the time all blues from 0 to 15 percent. I'd been slowly raising my lights intensity from 35% to 80% by 5% increments. By the way my Hammers and Octospawn looks like they are gonna pop because they are really extended. 5 week tank.

Thanks

This is me just being curious. As I know nothing about acros. What size tank do you have?

#1 You need better N and P test kits (low range) Red Sea, Hanna, Salifert as examples.

#2 Across need lots of flow.

#3 Your Cal and Alk are within the range but no way to tell how the across will do without lots of other info and time. Careful bottoming out N and Purple whilst blasting light and running hight Alk >8.

Before s you dive into further purchases I'd watch these for a month or two. New tanks (less than 6 months if started with live rock and live sand) can struggle to have bio diversity that support acros and SPS.

Thanks. Yes I am working on getting a better test kit. I am just trying to empty up the test kits I have before purchasing the ones in BRS.

I think I have good flow on thr Acros area but like you said I'll observe more and time will tell if things will remain consistent (assuming I do my usual chores)

About the light intensity and relationship among N, P, and Alk are something I haven't thought about. I will research that further. Thanks
