Acropora do not seem happy

I have several acropora in my tank that just do not seem happy. They have good color but the polyps do not come out. I have a green slimmer, a green acropora and a blue tenuis.

The procillapora, birds nest, Acans and zooanthids all are doing well.

Tank is 29 bio cube with Kessil360w Lights on 80 percent of power
Salinity - 1.024

Ammonia - 0
Nitrate - 0
Nitrite - 0

Anything I should be looking for or doing? Thanks

If all parameters are stable just give them time. I have noticed that other sps like birds nest, monti, pocci are faster to rebound with parameter shifts. It can take weeks if not months for an acro to color up or really look happy. I have a few that looked amazing from day 1 and others that over the last few months just get better and better. It seems like it takes forever sometimes, but slow and steady wins the race

If the parameters are stable and colors are good, then maybe fish nipping? What kinds of fish do you have?

If your tanks water is that clean your corals might be wanting some more food...

Sound like fish irritating your corals. Nipping possible.

how old is the tank and has it completely cycles and stabilized?

I struggle with keeping acros in my 29BC because of the difficulty in balancing the nutrients. Little tanks have proven tough for me.

Lots of flow in a BC29 is also tricky as too much is prone to blow sand.

Could be a fish.. I'll peak around the corner at my tank sometimes and ill watch my hippos nip something he shouldn't, then I let him see me and he acts like he misses me. I've never seen him do that anytime I'm in the room watching him... might have a jealous fish yourself

Also you may try to turn your led down and see if the polyps come out. Too intense of light will make the polyps not have to reach vary far. May try 50 %. you'll notice within a couple days

Check to see if they are extending at night. I have a few species that only come out at night.

Also, direct flow (like aiming a power head at them) can make the polyps hide.
