Acropora horrida placement

I have a small frag of an Aussie Acropora horrida and am getting marginal polyp extension on the frag. It seems to be a very finicky stag. I've had the frag for around a month and the frag has been at the bottom of the tank due to its very pale color. No sign of pests and all of my other acros are doing fine. For those of you that successfully kept this species, what type of flow and how high did you place this species in your tank. Alk is at 7.0 dKh and calcium at 410. I do not have a current nitrate test results and am waiting for a new test kit. One indicator species that I have is a "Spainbow" and it bleached out about 2 weeks ago, but has regained its light green color with additional feeding. The tank is a full zeo system running at parameters for 50 gallons of total water volume. Lighting is provided by a full spectrum diy lighting system.
