Yes every acroporas is probably contaminated...
AEFW does'nt affect other genus (birdnest, poccillo, montiporas...)
you can see bite marks on the first photo too...
is that acro been in your tank for long time ?

Thank you, yes I have this acro from the beginning and I've never had any problems...

Begin pulling an dipping your SPS on a weekly basis, they are quiet voracious. You need to dip now, otherwise your corals will become too weak and perish.

You don't have many acropora, consider placing all of those species in a separate system for dipping.

If you're thinking their is a easier way out of this, think again. It's like having an apartment complex infested with bed bugs. You don't know which tenant brought them in, they're in the walls, everywhere. The only way to rid them are to remove and quarantine the tenants or nuke the entire building.

In the case of our aquariums, you can't simple nuke it and expect the SPS to survive.

Pull it out, dip it, blast it with a turkey baster and see if any flatworms pop off. They are little white ovals, brown if you use an iodine dip. Goodluck and welcome to the AEFW club.

That coris wrasse could possibly help eat them.

Hi guys, I dip the piece and pop off about 20 flatworms, tomorrow will continue with other acroporas of the tank with prevention purposes.

Good luck I had them years back and left the hobby for about a year. I was so disgusted,all my acros were encrusted on the rocks. A 180 gallon full of them.
