Acropora problem- need your advice

What could be the reason for cotton-like area on the branches of the Acro?.. It also start to lose its strong green color which turns to gray-brown.

Can't really see what your talking about in your photo. Can you photoshop a circle around the area in question? Or is it at the base of the branches or more at the top? Sounds similar to something I saw a while back, but it was just forming new branches in those areas.
 
I don't see anything good as far as the health of the tank or health of your corals, so how about you share more about your aquarium so that people on the forum can help you with your issue(s).

I appreciate your concern but the rest of the corals are doing very well, what made you think different?..?
 
Mesenterial filaments is what you want to search for...
I have had this problem at times but only on individual acros, sometimes nothing happens and sometimes they STN.
As the others always seem to do fine I have had problems figuring out what the problem is.

Gray might indicate low potassium in combination whit low nutrient levels..
