Acropora problem

There is some algae developing on Acropora tips.
Anybody have any recommendations?

What kind of algae?

It's green hair, I believe. Also I found same on Montipora.

If the tips are growing algae, there's likely recession.

Can you post your water parameters + details about your system?
How long have you had these?

Temperature 76-79?
pH 8.1-8.3
Phosphate <0.1ppm
Nitrate 25ppm
Nitrite 0

The system is 110 gal tank, 20 gal sump/refugium,
ca reactor, nielsen reactor, phosban reacton (running for a week).
MH light - 1x250w, 2x175w

I've clpped off the affected areas. So will see what happened in a few days.
I don't know if I should apply anything as a crazy glue to the clipped areas.

I would work on your water quality too, as Nitrate at 25 ppm IMO is time to start changing water, making sure export [skimmer?] is working efficiently.
