Each time i get a Acropora Tenuis, it usaly dies with in a month, it just starts to stn/rtn...

how ever i have loads of other acropora, millipora mostly, and they are doing fine. Is Tenuis just harder to keep, more easy to stress due to kh swin or ??

I have the same problem with Efflo's for some reason. I have had 2 so far and neither 1 lasted very long. Which is really annoying since I really like them. But I found out that I have AEFW, so I'm hoping it was just them. Maybe you have a similar pest that is more prone to attack A. Tenuis.

From what i can tell, i dont seem to have any pests, and my Efflo are doing greath;) Just tryed to frag, to try to save some of it.

I had a KH swing, from 8 to 9.5 over a period of 3 days, not much thought.. dont know if that is the cause, and they are just more sentitive towards that then the others.

tenuis are one of the easier acro's. Fast growers and dont need loads of light. but like any acro how easy/hard it is depends on where it came from and how like/unlike that is to where its going.

I'll bring this back instead of starting my own thread. I have this same problem. I got a tenuis almost two months ago and is has one spot of extremely slow STN which has been taking it over. This creep has taken months to spread less than a half an inch but it is still spreading. I think I am going to frag it because the rest of the coral is completely fine and shows great polyp extension.
