i had a blue tip acro in the past that the tips starting to fade and eventually lost all the bright blue color i dont know what caused this and it eventually died any ideas what may have caused this

First culprit I would look at is alk issues. Then lighting issues.

Ya you will have to post more info about your tank to get a good answer starting with lighting and water parameters also what kind of flow do you have in the tank?
