Acropora turned brown

I have a acropora frag that was white with a blue tint. He stayed that way for a couple of weeks after I got it home. It slowly has turned from white to brown. It's not dying. It's actually growing nicely. Yes, I could go down the list of water parameters, but lets assume, everything is on target. I've lots of other SPS that are doing great. Any thoughts.

do you know whether or not the colony was wild? if it were wild, its possible that since it was used to very intense light (sunlight), that it browns out under your lights.... i know i got a nice acropora colony once that started out as white with neon green tips, and slowly faded to brown....never died, in fact grew, but the color never came back...

It could be a different spectrum of light than you got it from. Sometimes a quick change in intensities will do that.

It either has to do with your lighting, or excess nutrients in the aquarium.
