acropora valida colors.

Intense lighting. The more intense the lighting the bluer to purple the tips will become, with a cream to green colored base. In low light conditions it's an ugly brown with green hues.

one of mine is at the bottom of my tank with caps and Red Dragon looking great, another is high directly under the water looking decent, another is way over to one side looking OK. Of the three the one lower in the tank is by far the fastest growing and has the nicest color. Like most coral depending on what tank it goes in you'll get different results.

Middle appears to be best for mine. I have one up high near 400w Radium looks a little pale, the best color for me is medium-high light roughly 350 to 400 PAR.

For tanks that have 250w MH or equivalent highest point might be ideal. But that being said, a 400w Halide can yield 600+ PAR up high, which I believe to be too much for a valida based on my observations.
