i have a 65 gal reef with acans, hammer, mushrooms an orange chalice and some palys and zoas. i have gotten 2 acros one in march and 1 this saturday both lost color very quickly and turned white. they had full polp extension but no color. i gave the first away but would like to try with the second. i placed it in my frag tank with pcs for now. the reef has 4 bulb t5s any suggestions

Did you light acclimate?
What are your tank parameters?

no i didnt light aclimate was told it like high light i put it high up..
sal.26
nitrates 0
amm 0
nitrites 0
temp 76

what kind of light did they come from. many lfs use 150 watt mh because they are good enough for short term but if you put them high up under something like your t5s you can cook them. if your salinity is substantialy different you could cause rtn(this would happen quickly).

should i take them from under the PCS and place them at the bottom of my reef? the color just fell off and by the second day i have only the tips of 2 of the 6 branches with color can they survive?
