ACROS/TBRC Joint May Club meeting May 10th 2pm Sarasota

I can pre make the dry goods for people who would like to make 1 gallon each of Randys Cal, Alk, and Mag for the May meeting. It would cost 5 bucks, and people would need to bring their own 1 gallon jugs, water and a funnel to pour the dry goods into the jugs. It will be Recipe #1, and the MAG portion will be 3A. Its pretty simple to make. I would recommend that you bring the 3 jugs you are using 1/2 to 3/4 full, and then a fourth to fill them the rest of the way up. If you dont feel like bringing jugs, I can just provide people with the dry goods, and you can make it at home.

Hey Brian,

Thanks for coming over and for those phytos...

Laura seems to have figured it out pretty good and (especially) the bubble seems to like it the best...

Your last minute tips on feeding the coral have saved us in a lot of ways...

Mark is still working on the laptop... by the time he is done I think the laptop technology will be obsolete... heh heh.. I will get you the pictures once I get my laptop back...

Talk to you soon..

Leo

if anyone is good at the phyto thing i want to learn. also wanted to find out how to do rotifers. i think you have to start with the phyto the graduate to that

Leo, glad to here the cultures are doing well.
If you ever get the photos off your lap top I'd love to get a copy, I'm terrible about getting pics of my stuff, I have about all I can do just to keep the coralin in check so I can see the corals say nothing of trying to take pics.

If you can hold off till mid June I can get you started with Phyto and rotifers, but right now I'm pretty bogged down till mid June.

rrcg50 Just remind me mid June and we'll get you set up with Phyto and ROTIFERS either at the next club meeting or you could stop by and I could show you my high tech method of raising rotifer cultures. ;)
