Found a site called www.carbide.com and noticed that there are some flush cut bits that have 3 flutes instead of the 2 is this better for creating the perfect edge or would it be overkill??
The best are the spiral upcut bits. I'm not sure about the difference between 2 and 3 flute straight cut, I think I bought a 3 flute 1/2" flush trim bit and was disappointed with it, then someone told me that 2 flutes is actually a little better for acrylic because it heats the material less, but again I'm not sure about that. Definitely the spiral upcuts are better, especially in a table where they tend to pull the acrylic down to the table with very little chatter.
