Acrylic help request

Ok, so I purchased these two tanks recently.
Dimensions are 96x24x14 3/8 thick acrylic

I water tested, tank almost full withe around 12", deflection of less than 1/8" in center via string line.

Now the more I think about it, I'm getting nervous about the span. I've read 3/8 is acceptable under 18" tall and 8 foot or less in length. Just surprised there is no center bracing.

I might just be paranoid. The tanks appear to be very well made. But my acrylic experience is limited

Also, thus is the worst seam of the two. I think it is caused by just an unsmooth cut being it is on the outside.

Any concern from the pros?

Kind of hard to tell exactly which piece overlaps which. If your looking at the "bubbles" on the left side of the image that is just an imperfect glue/weld, might not have had enough glue in. The joint, if your worried about that you could add some weld-on #4 and it would fill those bubbles with no problem. The portion on the right looks like excess #16 that they probably used to glue the seam. They just didnt clean it up very well.

Exactly what was thinking with weld on 4. And yes the top brace is sloppy. Little spillage here and there of weld on

Either way the seam still looks strong. I did a strength test on a piece of 1/4 acrylic that i glued perpendicular and the acrylic broke before the seam broke. So its much stronger than you think especially with an almost perfect seam.

Seam looks strong in the photo...but as my experience has told me...a seam can look strong until it isn't. You then have a major mess on your hands.
