Ok, so I purchased these two tanks recently.
Dimensions are 96x24x14 3/8 thick acrylic
I water tested, tank almost full withe around 12", deflection of less than 1/8" in center via string line.
Now the more I think about it, I'm getting nervous about the span. I've read 3/8 is acceptable under 18" tall and 8 foot or less in length. Just surprised there is no center bracing.
I might just be paranoid. The tanks appear to be very well made. But my acrylic experience is limited
Also, thus is the worst seam of the two. I think it is caused by just an unsmooth cut being it is on the outside.
Any concern from the pros?
