the budman

a friend gave me a 3 inch square of acrylic for my clowns. the package says "contains the CR-39 monomer". is this safe. its a replacement for a sandblaster eyepiece.

i have only used cell-cast acrylic in the past for small projets.

FWIW: our sandblaser has a glass lens and glass beads for blasting. we also use sand or crushed walnut shells.
the lens gets changed about 4 times a year, but i have never seen an acrylic lens for a sandblaster.
