acrylic rods ?????

I googled "acrylic rods" and came up with quite a few possible places, so try that and just find a store that you trust. They also sell some on Amazon and eBay

If you going to use them for drilling rock, I used fiberglass rods. 1.98 at Home Depot for driveway markers.

Why not go to lowes or HD and buy a 1/4 inch small sheet of acrylic for $5.00 or so cut them to 1/4x 1/4 inch and make your own. Just drill the rock whole a bit bigger.

I think places like hobbylobby and michaels would have them. Basically craft stores is what I think I remember people saying if you want to get them locally. Depending on how many you need it may be cheaper to just get some in bulk online though.

I thought the same thing and went to every hobby type store today (michaels, JoAnns, local hobby stores, etc) with no luck. They all had wood but no fiberglass or acrylic.

no I dont :(

But what I did do was go to Home Depot and grab a couple of the poles with a single reflector on the top. I think they are made of plastic and fiberglass. They have a couple different widths as well.

PVC is too big. Tried that. Also looked everywhere for acrylic rod. I ended up ordering from USA plastics. I needed a gate valve and purchased the acrylic rod from them too. It was really cheap but they had a 6 food minimum. But I think it was $1.85 for 6 feet! It works really well too. Easy to cut. Just use the same cutters that you use for PVC pipe.

They ship super quick. I think I got it in 2 days. They have great customer service too.

Acrylic rods are more expensive than "driveway markers", but IMO 110% better.

Worth the cost and effort, as they become almost invisable when your rocks have been drilled or stacked on top of the rods.
