Acrylic ?'s

So I am looking at making a tank out of acrylic that is quite different than any on the market, so I was wondering if anyone knew a local (as closer to dover as possible) place to purchace acrylic sheet and weld on solvent. I know HD and Lowes carry acrylic, but I am really looking for 3/8" thickness which they dont carry as far as ive found.

look in the phone book for glass shops. most if not all will also have acrylic

there is a glass company i got mine frm its i think delmarva glass its across from rodney village. they treated me good

Ken knows of a good one around here, they used to be in Wilmington, but moved further south. I sent him a message and asked him to post more info.

I have gotten supplies at Kaufmans too. didnt knowthey had two stores in town. I use the one on quigley.

they will have or can get the 3/8 acrylic, plus they ussually stock the adhesive. you will need a 4 oz. can of the liquid WELDON 4, and alarge tube of thickened WELDON 16 to do the job. plus a small needle point applicator bottle for the #4.

but first check local glass/plastic companies. You are sure to find one for the acrylic sheet. but not all carry the glue.
