Acrylic sump with HOB U-tube overflow for sale

First of all I don't have a pic til this evening. just gauging interest. It is only 30 bucks though, and in perfect working condition, with no cracks. no bioballs, I used LR. Dimensions are approx. 18"Lx10"Wx10-15"D.

how many gallons is the sump?

not sure on how much it will hold. probably in the 6-8 gallon range

FYI, 18x10x10=29.5 gallons. factor in thickness, baffles, etc, should hold more than 6-8 gallons, right?

that math is correct. It is the style that is throwing me off. sorry for the crude drawing. also I am assuming volume based on what can be in there(while running) in the event of a power failure and the tank backflowing into the sump. could be closer to 10-12 gallons. I can fill it up when I get home.

yeah, that's true... I was thinking that even with baffles and low sections it'd be significantly more than 6-8 gallons, but completely blanked on the fact that one runs sumps as maybe 75% of the height at a maximum... sorry!

ah man, I'm dumb.... the site I was using was in liters! 29.5 liters=7.79 gallons... doh!
