What do you use to clean the inside of the acrylic? I have been using a magnet cleaner but wanted to see if there was any other items that may be better. Would like to hear some ideas.

Thanks

I just use an old credit card. I dont want to risk scratching it all up. I always push downwards, especially towards the sand.

I have a 125g and i use the magnet for quick clean then on sunday i use the acrylic algae scrubbie thingy(white) you can get it on a long handle for deep tanks or just go swimming like i do:>

I use a magnavore 10 with a microfiber towel on both sides of the magnet.

I still scratch the tank on occassion, but it seems to work well for daily maintenance.

I use the acrylic safe Hammerhead to about 1 inch from the sandbed and use the Kent scraper with the red blade close to the sandbed. Also the Doby cleaning pads do great especially in the corners or on tough coralline.

I will have to look for the Dobie pads.....So if I have this correct you remove the sponge part and just put the pad part between your magnet. Thanks for the tip. BILL

I don't use it on my magnet but you could. I just use it for the back wall and in corners etc. It really takes off algae with no elbow grease at all.
