Building a 3/4'' acrylic tank. Koralia evo PH magnet is only rated for 1/2''. Will it hold? Has anyone had this problem?
What can be done to solve this problem?

Look at Aqueon PH, they don't use magnet, they use powerful suction cup.

First time I've ever heard a suction cup recommended over a magnet, but eh....

You could always order a higher power neodymium magnet for the dry side. Put a layer of felt between the magnet and the tank, and Never try to remove it or you'll probably scratch the tank wall, but I bet it would be strong enough to hold.

EEEhhh... it is not the suction cup you're thinking. You won't able to remove it unless you release a lever at the base. It is low profile compared to bulky Koralias. I like that there is no clutter outside the glass to hold it in place. Ehhhh!

Sorry the different PH is not an option. I am stuck with the Koralia's. I will look into magnets for the dry side.
Anybodyelse?
