Actinic in the front or back?

If you only had two bulbs to work with would you put the actnic in the front or back or does it even matter?

it does make a difference where the placement is, I would probably put front and back to keep the bulbs that promote growth in the middle.

But I only have 2 bulbs so there is no middle. But by your answer I'd say you'd choose the front and leave the white in the back for growth.

It really depends on where your fixture is,
where the most important corals are,
what type of bulb/reflectors

And what looks best to you.

But, since you only have two bulbs I am going to guess that this is a small tank and the corals aren't all that light demanding, so do what looks best to your eye.
