Interesting color being shown here. Look kinda funky; any suggestion? What am I doing wrong? All these pics were taken under a VHO Actinic Blue light. I try to use the flash; but it keep bouncing back to the len
there is nothing wrong with the pictures as such. great focus. nice DOF. the green is amazing. it just is very blue. this has to do with the white balance setting on the camera. (and the light in the tank)
First question; do the photo's represent what you see in the tank? if you put them side by side do they look the same? Is the camera making it more blue, less blue?
Try shooting in RAW format. if you are using something like photoshop to do post-processing you'll find you can change the white balance without "damaging" the photo.
Another option is to crop these more without the space around the coral.
don't worry about using a flash. 99% it doesn't work and everything looks washed out
can you post some more pics this time with your other lights on as well as the actinic?
