activated carbon

would there be any benefit to running activated carbon on a quarintine tank that Iam currently using to treat cryptocaryon irritan via hyposalinity. as well I have some furan-2, each capsule contains 60mg Nitrofurazone, 25mg Furazolidone, 2mg Methylene Blue Trihydrate. I understand that the activated carbon would take this medication out, but if I were to run it withouth the carbon would this medication help for ich? or would it be for secondary infections only

Hyposalinity treatment needs no help.

Antibiotics can, for the most part, be used with a hypo treatment, but should only be used if there is evidence that they should be used. And then, their use can be magnified by the hypo conditions.

Forgo the use of the other drugs. Use carbon for no more than 5 days and if you still want to run carbon, then change it to fresh carbon every 5 days. There are, IMHO better chemical treatments than carbon (e.g., Poly Filter).
