well i just added ablack light to master blasters tank! his feathery anntenae things glow a bright green now! he is also out more!

ill get one up this weekend. is it normal for them to freak out when the light on the heater turns on? he is kind of a well, wimp.
there is this one hermit that whent to his home... what did blaster do? he found a new home! he is afraid of the big bad hermit.

Maybe someone can clarify, but I seem to remember black lights as not being the best light (as far as temp., wavelength) for our tanks. Someone heard anything similar?

I wouldn't use one as a primary light, you can use a black light like a moon light at night though.

As far as for the temp I don't even use heaters in any of my tank (too many horror stories). As in the ocean it doesn't stay a constant temp. warm in the day and cooler at night. In the Day my tanks are 76-78 and night 73-74
