adding a A.Chrysopterus?

Hi all,

Just a little advice required. I would like to add a A.Chrysopterus to a 400l system which already has a pair of false percs in it, would this be a bad thing to do?

if my math is somewhat right thats about a 100 gal tank. Personally I wouldn't do it for several reasons
1 Chrysopterus are very difficult shippers and even if you got one that was healthy the added stress of the other clown pair would cause probable health issues

2 chrysopterus grow very large and again will cause problems with the established pair

3 the tank is just too small for a pair of clowns plus one.


if you want a chrysopterus I would get rid of the percs and find a good source for chyrs and qt them and have at it.
