Adding a BTA or Carpet? 50 gallon sps

Hey everyone, i was wanting to add a Bubble tip to my 50 gallon sps tank. I have 2 clarkiis that would probably love the anemone. My question is would the anemone move and sting my sps badly? I have about 6 pieces of sps in the tank. Also how large does the anemone have to be to not be smothered my a 2" and 3" clarkii.

Thanks

Been looking for answer to this question for a while anything helps.

Also what about adding a carpet anemone? too risky?

I personally don't like BTAs (( E. Quadricolor )) in an SPS tank. First they are rock dwelling and second their clones have a habit of "walking" around the tank.

As for the "carpet", what type?

I have S. Haddonis in all 3 of my tanks, they are sand dwelling -- usually at the rock/sand interface and tend to cause less issues with SPS.

As for what size anemone for a pair of Clarkiis, I would want one that is at least 9".

Ive heard that about the BTAs, honestly i want a carpet but ive heard they can be deadly... have you lost any fish? As for getting one that is 9" i will have to rearrange my tank to accommodate one that large. Where did you get your S. Haddonis?

I also have a 4.5 inch christmas wrasse, i dont know if he would pick at an anemone.

I currently have 4 Haddonis, and one of them has been with me for 12+ years. In all that time I have lost 3 fish -- a yellow watchman goby, a Mandarin (( which given their swimming style isn't a shock )) and a dwarf angel -- it was newly introduced and was fighting with the clown.

2 of my Haddonis came from an LFS, 1 from the Diver's Den section of LA, and 1 from Pacific East.

Don't have any experience with that wrasse, so can't say, but would think it would be ok.

Ok well i dont have any "hopping" fish so hopefully i wont lose anything. As for the size of the tank though I am not sure if it is large enough for the anemone. Did any of the anemones move and touch any corals?

That is not an S. Haddoni, but a Cryptodendrum adhaesivum.

This is one of my S. Haddoni,

The only corals that I have lost to my Haddonis has been when a frag feel onto it. Unless I change something in the tank, mine don't move.
