Adding a new clown

Hello!
I have a False Percula clownfish that I plan on moving to a new 24g nano cube. She has been the only fish in a 10g since I got her as a juvenile 1 1/2 years ago. She was born with only one eye, so I initially was worried about putting her with any other fish, but I think she might like a buddy. I will not be adding any other fish to the tank except maybe a clown goby or something.

I would like to add another clownfish, but I feel like most of the ones I see in the LFS are very small in comparison. My current clownfish is 1 3/4 inches long.

Will this be a successful pairing? Should I try to find one closer in size?

Also, it would be cool if she stays a female and the dominant fish (since I've already named her :-) ). How long after she is in the new tank should I consider adding another clown (would quarantine new clown first)?

Thanks for your help!

Just toss the smaller clownfish in, and watch for aggression. All should go well as ocellaris aren't terribly difficult to pair up.

I would say any ocellaris 1" or less would be fine. Its better for there to be a different in size since yours is most likely a female and the smaller ones have not chosen their sex yet..basically they are all males for the time being
