Adding another clown

I had 1 of my {perc} clowns die. I want to had another but every lfs has said the same thing. The remaining 1 is about 2.5 inchs and is hosting my nepthea tree. If I were to get a small one what are his chances .

I mated my GBM Clowns by getting a much smaller one and putting him in the tank in a breeder container where the bigg'n couldn't get to him. Did that for about a week. When I set him loose Big momma chased him into the anemone as if to say, "get your butt in that house." No problems at all, they are a happily married couple.

get a smaller clown. on a safe side make sure to get the small one from a company of say 3 or more clowns in your lfs tank.

Update I added the new clown and after about 10 minutes of hiding they found each other and are getting along well. It looks as if I've got another pair.
