Adding another tang to a 300 gallon?

I need a reality check. I have a 300 gallon table tank (8'*4'*15"). I currently have 6 yellow tangs, a dozen damsels, and 3 clowns. I was thinking about adding a hippo tang (5-6 inches). I know he would be a different shape than the yellows, but yellows are more aggressive and are the established fish. Would this be fine or should I think twice?

I think you'll be fine. I have a YT and 3 hippos in my 200 and have witnessed no aggresion whatsoever. The larger dimensions of your tank should be ample... Interesting shape, by the way - got any pics ?!

You may think on adding another tang that you like to help spread the aggression out.. but not sure if that would work it can go either way. Blue goes in no problems or the yellows just having their way. I would do it at night as well.
