Adding live rock/Established tank

Hey everyone, I'm thinking about adding 20 or so pounds of new live rock to a 90 gallon mixed reef tank that has been established for about 4-5 years. The rock is coming from a store where it has been sitting in their live rock holding facility for about 2 weeks so if there was any die off it would have happened there. The rocks don't smell or anything, its mostly like base live rock. Do you all think it would be ok to just go ahead and add the rock to the tank? I'm thinking about soaking it in RO water for a couple of hours just to make sure anything bad is out of the rock and to give the rock a good rinse. I just don't want this new rock to harm this well established tank, but the tank is in a severe need of a landscaping as new sps frags are being added.

Thanks

If you soak the new LR in RO water you will be killing everything, good and bad. If it's been sitting in the LFS holding tanks for some time, you should be able to just add it to your tank without problems. Just monitor your water parameters (ammonia) every few days for the next week or two.
You may have a small cycle caused just by re-aquascaping, so you may want to do a few small water changes over the weeks following your change and addition.
