Just a question about liverock I currently have 150 lbs liverock in my tank and have had it 2 years. My tank is a 75. I would like to add more to my tank so I can get my corals closer to my t5 lighting. I was wondering when i get new liverock is there stuff i need to watch for? If i add more could it destroy or crash my current tank?

Adding dry rock in your case would be the easiest way to do it. However, I would caution you on the "dead" rock...if it has excessive amounts of old algae, dead inverts, etc...it may cause a nitrate spike. I would acid wash the rock first, rinse well and let dry overnight before adding it to your tank. JMO :)

What i would do is get dead rock and stick it in bucket or a container for a couple weeks with a heater and power head, do water changes ever week and test until parameters go to zero. and if the rock has been dead and dry for a while it shouldn't take long. This would be the best bet if you dont want the ugly looking dry rock.
