Adding more clowns to the tank?

I currently have 2 ocellaris clowns in my tank. I was thinking of adding 2 snowflake clowns. Can I do this or will they fight with each other?

They aren't mated but they are always together. And they like the left side of the tank

They will fight. The answer is two, or a crap ton as in a harem tank, which is another issue. Stick with two.

Small tank, a not established couple, I think a new couple is not a good idea.

Since u already have them, try isolate them in a clear container in your 55 tank see how the other fish or clowns react to them, sometimes once they are use to each other and they stay on opposite side, it might work out.

It will not work out. They are at home in the 55, and the whole tank is theirs.

If you had introduced them all at once, that would be a different item, that might work. Now it is too late.

If you really want 4 clownfish the only way that might work is take the 2 clown out and sell it or trade it in for 4 new clowns then put it all in at the same time, They might pair up and stay on opposite end. With the 2 that running the show right now it's a slaughter house for the newbie for tank that small.
