Adding new sand to the 60G

I have 20 gal that has been running for about 3 months with nothing but live sand, live rock and there are copepods in the tank. my question is how do i move some of that sand into my 60g? Should i do it little by little each week/day/month? Or can i just move what i want to move?

get large freezer bags and slowly empty into 60 gal to prevent dust storm. u can do all of it now
