adding purple firefish?

I originally purchased 2x purple firefish, and they got along really well but one of them disappeared after an unfortunate accident w/ the overflow.... Anyways I've had just the one firefish for the past few months and I'd like to add another. I know they can be very territorial against other firefish, but I'm about to upgrade to a 90gal and was hoping when I make the move I can sneak in a second one.

Anyone tried this? Think it will work?

If you are lucky enough to get a M + F and they bond you will be fine. Otherwise, you will not.

So, my chances are like 50/50? That's not so good... I'm nervous because it'd be next to impossible to catch one of these guys after they've been added to my DT. They are very shy & ridiculously fast. I had a hard enough time catching a damsel who I could easily bait w/ food. It took me several weeks, finally got him using the vase trick. The only way I got the smaller damsel was because he was bullied close to death. I'd really like to avoid that situation this time.

In a 90Gal, wouldn't they have plenty of room even if they don't pair up?
