I'm setting up a 150 gal FOWLR DT, in which I would like to have a large angel, greebird wrasse, puffer, naso tang, and trigger. I know they like a lot of swimming space. I have about 150 lb LR in the DT and some in a refuge, but I'd rather not put any more in the DT because it will cut down on the swimming room. Any suggestions on what I can add to increase my bioload? Thank you.

If you stick to that stocking and don't add more fish, you should be just fine with 150 lbs and even more in the refugium. Do you have a skimmer? This will be key with those messy fish.
Have you decided what species you are looking at getting? You can do that list for sure but have to be careful about which species you choose. Especially with the Puffer, Trigger and Angel.

I have a naso tang in QT, and then planned on getting, in this order - greenbird wrasse, porcupine puffer, bluechin trigger, emperator angel. If possible I would like to add a second, different wrasse.
I was considering putting bioballs in my sump for extra filtration, but I know most reefers are against LR.
If I can ask another question. It is my impression that it is good to have a lot of circulation around LR. If that's so - is it less beneficial to have large amounts of LR in a refugium or a sump as opposed to the DT? Thanks.

Well bio balls can be ok in a FO but if you have live rock it becomes a FOWLR and you should not need them. I really think you will be fine with the LR you have. You can always add some more to the sump if you have room. Actually a better idea though is to add lots and lots of macro algae to your refugium. It helps so much. Same with softies like xenia which use a lot of nutrients up. A good skimmer will go a long way too.

Just try to make sure the rock in your sump and refugium is not just thrown in but placed so that water flows through it well. Its not always about having rock blasted with flow but more about water moving through it...even if slowly.
